First coat of paint, car was given TEN coats in
total, initially six coats then left for two
weeks to harden properly before flatting and a
final four coats of paint before a final flat
and polish.
A process designed to give a perfect finish and
not to be hurried.
As the car was changed from grand prix white to
the classic Gulf blue we ensured all the white
paint was removed before applying a glossy
covering of new paint
